Hi everyone! I’m looking for recommendations on the best tools for property analysis.

What software or resources do you find most helpful for evaluating real estate investments? Do share your experience, too.

Hi! For property analysis, I highly recommend using tools like DealCheck or Mashvisor. They offer robust features for evaluating real estate investments, including cash flow projections, ROI calculations, and market analysis.

If you’re on-site evaluating properties, having a reliable Husky Tool Bag is essential. It keeps all your measuring tools, notebooks, and essentials organized and accessible, making your site visits more efficient. Good luck with your investments!

When it comes to property analysis, BiggerPockets and Mashvisor are my go-to tools. BiggerPockets offers great calculators for rental properties and flips, while Mashvisor helps with market research and investment property analysis.

I’ve also found Real Estate Financial Modeling (REFM) software useful for more detailed cash flow and valuation models, especially for commercial properties. If you’re starting, Zillow and Redfin can be helpful for basic research and market trends.

    Hi Ariana,

As a property investor and business owner, you can try the PropertyDirector platform (shown in my signature below) for suburb research and analysis – data is sourced from PriceFinder, SQM Research, and other high quality data suppliers.  Suburb research reports (including median prices and capital growth data) go back 40 years, and there are also more detailed demographic reports.

Feel free to respond here if you need any more info, or email me at my signature.

    Kind regards,
    Ajay
