My personal opinion, you need to know a little bit more than put up a sign for sale. We Did tried to sale our house in Qld since December, a lot of people came and look but we couldn’t closed a deal. We were not in town to deal with the sale in the las couple of months which makes things harder. We went with a real state and he said because we had it in the market for a while people start thinking something was wrong. we dropped the price twice and lucky it is under offer. Very painful experience. I think it is depending on personal circumstances and abilities. Thanks
Well, imagine you want to buy a house without a real estate agent. Would you be sure you won’t be scammed? I was trying to have a look at some places to move in without an agent, but it took me a lot of time to find a suitable one, and I did not have any experience seeing the problems of any particular place. I bought a house 3 years ago, I love this place, but, after I bought it, I tried to change some things inside the house, move some stuff, decorate and other things, there was a surprise waiting for me under the roof, asbestos particles all around, I did not see them before I made the money transfer, after that I had to become an Asbestology expert) I had to study what is asbestos and how dangerous it is, and that’s why I recommend you hire a specialist to find all the issues before you sign the contract

Selling a home without an agent is technically possible. If homeowners are to take this on, they need to be aware of what they’re getting into. It can be very time-consuming if not done the right way. Also, it’s not a bad idea to have an attorney view documents that you sign. While this isn’t 100% necessary, it can help homeowners know what they’re getting into.
