I have a unit which is strata based. My tenants have two cars and have been parking one car on the common lawn, the other in the driveway. I have received several letter from the Body Corp stating that they will not be paying for the repair of the lawn and would like me to pay for it. I have issued repeated warnings to tenants not to park on the lawn…I have pictures….looks like it still happening. My property manager is stating it wasnt in great shape when she got it.I have looked around the complex and the other lawns are not much better, a few are ok( green and maintained). I think the parking has made it exceptionally bad with tire marks, sunked parts etc etc.
I pay my Body Corporate fee quarterly….Can I ask who responsible to pay to fix up the ground…I am looking at selling the unit and lawn in directly in front it, its not a good look. I am in South Australia
