All Topics / Help Needed! / Destination air bnb investment-national park
hello :),
I am interested in making my first investment as a destination air bnb ( as I don’t have a lot to invest but have alot of social media/marketing skills to bring to the table) I am looking at building my own container units in a national park in NSW. I have seen people be very successful renting very remote air bnb’s via social media and thought that could be my entry into the market.
Just wanting to hear people opinions and thought, all are welcome :)
Hi Jemfraser,
You need to do thorough due diligence on whether this model is going to work for you.
1. make sure that you can indeed build within a national park. What are the restrictions and ongoing costs?
2. right now, COVID-19 has put a huge dent in the Air BnB market. People are self-isolating, staying home and not traveling.
Perhaps creating/running an Air BnB is better looked at when the travel industry opens up again?
