Chapel Street Shopping Precinct special rate

Hello,

We received proposed special rate for Chapel Street Shopping Precinct notice from the Stonnington City Council.

This special rate is “for the purpose of defraying expenses in connection with the marketing, promotion of the precinct and business engagement and business development of their members in the Chapel Street Shopping Precinct”.

We decided not to lodge any objection. But just wondering if anyone has been following this and/or is aware of common reasons for objecting it.
