Over the years I had many issues with the cost of my strata managers. But one of the major issue was that they received referred commission from insurance brokers for providing us with compulsory strata insurance. I felt like the strata insurance sector was not transparent and receiving the best quote as there was often an arrangement between the broker and strata managers.
What I’ve done was set up a website called FetchSure (www.FetchSure.com.au) is a marketplace between insurance brokers and property owners who are seeking strata insurance. The platform allow brokers to complete with each out for the body corporate strata insurance. I’m currently launching the site and would like owner to test the platform to see if they do get a deal. I would like to know if people are interested in such a platform and if people are willing to try it out and provide feedback.
