All Topics / Help Needed! / Contract clause – wet days
Hi there,
Our builder wants to extend the contract end day due to wet days.
According to him, a wet day has a rainfall of over 1mm.
Is there a definition of what a wet day is?. To me, 1mm is nothing. This way, he will never finish.
Thank you,
What is the definition in the contract? The Master Builders Association put out a schedule of wet days. Get the builder to use a MBA OR HIA or Fair Trading contract not their own contract.
