So, I have a paved area out the back of my house, about 4.5m X 4m (ish). Looking from the entry point, it is bounded on the right by a Besser block wall, in front by the fence to the neighbour, and on the left by a small retaining wall. My thought is to turn it into an entertainment area, probably with benches around the outside and something in the middle.

What should I put in the middle? Thought of a firepit, but overhanging trees a bit close for comfort. Thought of an outdoor pool table, but they cost a fortune. Ditto for a spa.

    Thoughts?

We have a pizza oven in our outdoor entertainment area, but I am a foodie.. not sure it would work for you??

Alternatively the fire pit sounds nice but strategically would it work in summer, gets too hot????

I’d pop down an outdoor rug and lounge chairs with a table – cost effective and will look good.

    Cheers

Thanks people. I’ll think on it further.
