Kit homes – run away or saviour?

I recently bought a block of land with sad fibro house but awesome view. It is a slope 1.8m from front to rear.

I looked at kit homes – imagine kit homes and storybook homes. Has anybody used these guys. What is involved in being an owner builder? is this realistic if one has never overseen a house build before? I’m looking for the most cost effective way to build. Project homes seem to be flat and not maximising the view. Am trying to do simple weatherboard home….
