    Hey everyone,

I’m looking into buying my first investment property! I’m 25 years old earn 140k a year and live in Brisbane.

Things I’m looking for some advice on please, and thank you all in advance!!

    – A good accountant to speak to with setting up a trust to buy multiple property’s so I can be a guarantor for my loans to access more money from the banks. Is this the best way to approach?

    – Also a good mortgage broker to deal with, someone who is experienced with investment loans and these types of set up’s would be great.

This would be a great start I think, I have a deposit saved now just need to get everything set up and start house hunting! Cheers

You should speak to a lawyer to set up a trust – an account will just give you an off the shelf template with the names filled in and cannot give you advice in relation to it other than commonwealth tax asepcts.

    Hi Mark

Firstly welcome to the forum and I hope you enjoy your time with us.

Whilst a good property Accountant is important and I can certainly recommend someone to you setting up multiple Trusts certainly won’t help you increase your borrowing capacity.

Unfortunately this was a myth of Xmas past and has certainly been super seeded in the modern lending world.

As far as a half decent Mortgage Broker can’t help you there lol

No seriously shoot me an email be happy to advise you as i have bought a property or two in Brisbane over the last 20 years.

    Cheers

    Yours in Finance
