    Hi all,

    I need some opinion and advice. I have just paid 10% deposit and waiting settlement.
    It’s a brand new town house, before inspection I was told it was 2 brms. Upon inspection we really liked it so we asked for contract and build plans. The plans is 1 Brm 1 study(opened), but the study has been turned into a room with wardrobe. Also part of the side on the plan shows that it’s there backyard but it has been turned into a bathroom.

    Has anyone been in similar situation? Is it safe to buy this of the developer. There is another unit in the complex I inspected with similar build. I don’t believe the builder has approval for The change as I can’t see the changes anywhere on the plan or contract.

    Contact your solicitor and get them onto the case – that’s a pretty big oversight.
