Hi,
We made an offer on a house last Friday which was accepted (it is now Wednesday), nothing has been signed and we have changed our minds about buying the house. How can we back out of the offer? Are we under any obligation? No money or contracts have been signed. Quick answers needed PLEASE!!!
Thanks
A an oral contract for land is generally unenforceable. It needs to be in writing, but this doesn’t necessarily need to be a formal contract, it could be via email or the back of an envelope. Best to ask your lawyer.
