Hi all,
I am looking for a team of mortgage brokers, accountants etc. whom are physical property investors themselves. I know that there is probably hundreds on this forum, but I am unsure on whom to approach. I am Adelaide based, but I am not limited to here if it means I have the right networks/team elsewhere. I’d love some like-minded people to work with.
I am 24 and a first time investor. I am just looking to get off on the right foot from the start.
David Traeger on this forums is an active Adelaide investor and property manager – well worth having a chat with. You’ll find us Adelaide investors usually catch up once a month or so for a dinner at one of the pubs in the CBD, you should definitely come along to the next one.
You’re definitely on the right track if you’re 24 and looking to invest, well done. The advantages of having / using like minded professionals who invest themselves and know each are infinite. It really streamlines the process a lot.
The meetups that Corey linked are well worth coming to, they’re usually over a counter meal and a beverage, informal, agenda-less, etc but good way to meet other investors in Adelaide.
I will endeavour to contact each of you at some point and work out what is best for me. I have done a lot of reading and I am just trying to clarify what I want from it all. It’s hard trying to find time outside of the general day to day chaos, but it’s what I want to do.
I’d definitely be down for a catch up and meet the like-minded people in Adelaide. – Always down for a beer.
@dtraeger – I have been thinking south potentially, around the Christies Beach area in particularly. However, I’m happy to explore interstate if it works out to be a good option.

Christies Beach is an area we manage, and is a pretty nice spot. I’ve looked at a couple of properties there for myself too. There’s an interesting transformation going on there – Beach Rd used to be tattoo parlours and op shops and now has wine bar and yoga place… it’s gradual and will take years, but seems to be going in the right direction.
I feel that Port Noarlunga has seen some good growth and that Christies Beach being alongside is starting to see gentrification happen. Coastal is a positive, the expressway now is also great.
I’ve just finished up at uni and now got myself a job as a Body Corporate Manager.
