I currently own an investment property in the inner west of Melbourne, 6 months ago I received a letter from the council informing me that my property number will be changing from 3 to 3b. This was due to several subdivisions further down the street.

To cut a long story short I am concerned that if I go to sell people will think my property is part of a subdivision and will not even consider an inspection. How do you suggest I approach this?

I honestly don’t believe this would be an issue. Besides when its time to sell just ask the agent to keep the address off the advertising. If anyone is interested they would just enquire. Most good agencies state the land size in the ad anyway.
