Hi, very new to this. Have read a few threads on the topic but would still like some opinions. Have just signed contract for a 2bdr 1 bath queenslander north brisbane 6km from cbd on a main rd (Enoggera rd). 6 lanes in total and thr house is hidden away. Obviously purchase price is well under medium price for the area. Its an investment, zoned LMR2…but the land size on its own is to small for development 405m2.

Im just tossing up if it would be better to invest in outer brisbane – bought a property in east brisbane approx 12km from cbd and its had substantial growth in 12months. It is appealing having an investment in an inner city suburb but not sure if its worth the risk. Ive heard its extremely hard to re-sell and it seems that current owner hasnt seen much growth at all.

    Thanks for anyones thoughts
    J

    Hi Elle

Personally i would avoid Enoggera Road at all costs.

Isn’t to get any quieter. You can certainly buy in a better position IMO.

    Cheers
