    Hi there everyone
I have recently received 60.000 AUD from an insurance compensation claim and i’d like to make them grow no just leave them into my bank account.
I recently started a Painting business so as most new business is on up and downs but still doing pretty good.
Looking for some genuine help as i am new to investment so any suggestion will be taken on board .

    Grazie

    Hi there –

First point will most likely to meet mortgage broker and determine your borrowing power – if you are self employed this will be the biggest challenge as your ABN may/may not be older than 2 years.

From there you can determine your loan amount and develop a strategy to invest. Of course this will depend on whether you are buying an investment property or your own home.

Hope the painting is going well – always hard to find a good painter!

    Cheers Ivan

    Hi Roberto

Ivan’s on the money – you generally need to have two years ABN history before applying for a mortgage. Most lenders will want to see two years of financials too – some will be happy with one.

    Cheers

    Jamie
