I own a group of 12 units and am considering buying and installing a coin operated laundry.
I’d be very interested to hear from other landlord’s on this forum with regard to their experience with coin operated laundries.
Was it a worthwhile venture? How much money was made or lost?
What issues need to be considered?
How much time/effort do they take to manage and maintain.
Is 12 units enough for me to make this worthwhile? (5 have insitu personal washing machines, but no dryer)
How many washer and dryers should I get?
New or secondhand?
Brands?
Bottled LPG or electric? (I have no mains LNG)My thanks in advance. Any advice would be appreciated.
