All Topics / Finance / Litigation proof
Hi all,
Any general advice as to establishing or ensuring a portfolio is protected against a lifetime risk (low but not zero) of litigation? Insurance is paramount, but is there anything else I can consider ie particular type of trust? I’m looking to expand from 2 properties over the short term, but need to take this into account. Should I be talking to a broker, financial planner, particular type of accountant? Anyone in Brisbane?
Thanks
B
D) All of the above. But a solicitor and savvy accountant would be your first port of call just need to make sure each professional is a specialist in property investing and structuring.

Bangers if you are looking for a property orientated solicitor then you can’t go past Darryl Richards at Certis Legal.
Tell him I say g’day and will catch up with him for lunch when I get back from Europe.
Cheers
