All Topics / Help Needed! / First time investor in nowra looking for help!
Hi all
I’ve been looking for investment properties and watching the market for a while, however I’m only 21 and can’t really afford in sydney anymore.I had my chance but playing the waiting game and spiking prices threw me out.
Some background information on myself, I’m studying, working and simply want want my foot in the property market wile I’ve got the income and the deposit i have.Bank is also ready to go.
My main objective for now is more for rental return than capital growth i don’t think this will be a issue as i can’t see myself selling this property within the next 20 or so years.
I have found some properties in the Nowra, mostly in east nowra area with really good returns, positive cash-flow for roughly between 270k-300k.
However my main concerns are regarding rental demand in nowra, the last thing i want is to buy a property and not be able to rent it.
Also i have heard people say mixed information about east nowra versus central nowra.
The other concern i have is the 1 in 100 year flooding.
Lastly hearing about a large amount of drug addicts in nowra is not the most pleasant information.
I know no where is perfect but now my concerns are layed out on the table if someone could help clear the fog for me that would be great! If anyone also has any different advice or anything extra to add about nowra or in general don’t hesitate to tell me I’m still new to this game!
ThanksMatt Knight is a BA in that area. He might be able to help with your questions http://www.precium.com.au/
