Canadian investment property – taxes associated?

Hi there,

My partner is Canadian and we are looking to get an investment property in Toronto Canada. I am wanting to know the taxes i would have to pay to the Australian govt for this property?
Also is it better to obtain foreign investments under a business name?

Any advice would be much appreciated or directions to similar previous topics.
