The New New site… here we go again.

<p>Still finding my way around this thing. I have to say as I get older I like change less and less unless it materially improves the previous version and I’m not convinced this new latest and greatest site does. One thing that irks me more than anything is that these site incarnations are thrust on the community with no consultation or at the very minimum a polite notice. That to me speaks volumes about the care and consideration given to this community.</p>

<p>So my first quibble. The central frame has a header “TOPIC-VOICES-POSTS-FRESHNESS”</p>

• VOICES…?????
• FRESHNESS?????

<p>Second quibble:</p>

• I hit return to start a new para and it jumps 2 lines… I can’t even get back to the first line because of the formatting…what’s with that?

<p>Third quibble:</p>

• The text box functionality is actually no better than the last partially non functional iteration.

<p>Fourth quibble:</p>

• no preview function
