I am looking for property lawyer and accountant in Sunshine Coast area, any recommendations? My focus is on Asset Protection then moving on the property investment once it is all set up.
Little background of our current situation:
Years ago, when my partner started his business, he hired a wealth coach to help to set up his financial goals and other wealth related topics. He then bought his first house, debt free.
couple years later, we met up with our coach. He gave us some ideas re: asset protections and how to structure our business. Basically, after that session, my partner gave instruction to the accountant re: how to set up the structure. ( it seems like it should be the other way around, if our account is good?)
From my understanding, lawyer is to set up the trust, accountant is to do with tax. We had accountant to set up company structure, then does it meant that our structures is not legal?
