All Topics / Help Needed! / Council requesting a pay and rebuild an undamaged cross over!!
Hi
I have received a council planning permit (Maroondah) in Melbournes east
As part of the permit – the council have stipulated that I rebuild and pay for the driveway cross over. On asking why – They have stated that all new cross overs are being re done with a minimum width of 3 metres ??!!
I for one don't get it
The cross over is not my property
The cross over is not damaged
Don't i pay my rates for council to do this
I'm chasing where it says in policy or legislation that driveway cross overs now need to be 3 metres wide.
Does anyone know of this, it seems outrageous!!.
What did your Town Planner say ?
Cheers
