Hi Guys , I have been looking for OTP property in western Sydney and came cross western Sydney property group , also noticed lot of online negative comments about them on different forums and also noticed every 6 or 7 out of 10 building projects in western Sydney are being built by same people , It will be much appreciated if anybody wants to give me most recent and most honest comment about any of their townhouse projects . what I was thinking who those people are who still buying properties (first home / investment) from them even they have bad name in market ? are they really bad or been through something like " media trial " ?
Hi Little Master
Firstly welcome to the forum and i hope you enjoy your time with us.
I think you have answered your own question and that is if you are reading negative comments about the organisation then that probably tells you what a lot of people think.
As a property adviser and buyers agent i am slightly biased but we certainly wouldn't be putting any of our forum clients into such a development.
Cheers

I am an recent immigrant and the first home buyer. I bought the house built by universal property group/ bathla/ western sydney property group and I am going through the toughest time ever in my life. They use the cheapest material possible and now I have been living in the house almost 1 month, everything now is going torn apart. The worst part is the builder does not want to fix issues without fair trading or tribunal. One moment, they said they are going to fix. Next moment, they refuse and ask us to take the issues to tribunal.
Also, there is no site supervisor and no one actually know what they are supposed to do. Poor communication among them.
No work ethics. They just built the house and do not want to care afterwards. They do not listen to the customer and even they shout at customers over the phone.
One of the examples that they refused to fix was bumpy floor. The floor was above the Australian standards and they tried to fix twice without any floor specialist.
They damaged the house and repeatedly said the floor is a way below the Australian standards. However, when it was measured by a building inspector sent by fair trading, the floor was excessively bumpy. I was expecting that the floor can be fixed by the builder but the building inspector could not order them to fix as the floor was already covered by the timber floor and it is not a residential work. Now I am taking this case to Tribunal as per the advice from fair trading officer.
I am genuinely warning anyone who is going to buy properties built by them. Why would you choose this company, if there are so many good builders out there?
I was so naive and trusted what the sales person said but it turned out everything ugly.
If there are anyone who want to share the experience with the builder, please contact me.
Regards.
I also bought a house from Western Sydney Property Group only to find numerous things wrong with it. Eg not cleaned at all building material all over porches garage driveway and both bathrooms. Bath needed repair paint cuts and scratches, painting through whole house is so badly done and they have used seconds in many places. Garage and stove are in crooked great big gaps aside 2 windows kitchen is literally just thrown together with screws etc showing. Because oven is in crooked doors won’t align most cupboards are damaged I could just go on and on. They have been out after you hassle them to do minor jobs but don’t send qualified people who then make the job worse.the bathrooms look like they belong in a factory paint glue cement and VERY badly painted botched jobs everywhere, For paying over half a million for a brand new house this is disgusting. Fair trading is acting now. I would have stayed away from this builder had I thought to read some reviews. So if you are thinking of buying from them please do your homework. I have many videos of their work send me a reply with your email address if you want to see what a brand new house should NOT look like.
