    main takeaways – while some would argue that "the deal pipeline" is the most crucial element of successful property investing, and that one should "hit the ground running and start making offers till something sticks" –  in reality, the right or wrong infrastructure can make or break the foreign investor – particularly when she or he is new to their chosen market, and are unfamiliar with procedures, regulations, pitfalls and differences to their country of origin. Familiarization and planning are key – taking it slow and laying down a solid legal and financial foundation before jumping head first into uncharted territories is key.
