    Hi everyone!

I'm looking for some advice on this as I'm unsure of what the best thing to do would be. As per my previous post, I'm looking to begin with small, mainly cosmetic renovations on properties in places like Goulburn or Bathurst, and then slowly building up, my ultimate goal being to become a career developer.

I've been looking at my options and came across this: http://www.deakin.edu.au/course/bachelor-of-property-and-real-estate-business

I would like to hear some opinions on whether or not you think courses such as these are relevant or worthwhile. It seems to go through some key general topics, with only a small segment focused completely on development.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It's all part of realising the dream. Thanks!

    Hi there

Nothing can replace experience in the world of property investing IMO.

There's also a lot of free info out there – including forums like this one.

Personally  – I wouldn't bother. If I had my time over again – I'm not sure if I would have spent 4 years getting my degrees….and those degrees have nothing to do with the world of property.

    Cheers

    Jamie

Would depend on who is the lecturer. Have they done what they are teaching or is it theory?

Do what Jamie said and self educate yourself, get your self in a position to take the leap, build  a mastermind team and as St Nike says "Just do it!"
