All Topics / Help Needed! / Transferring money from Australia to US
I need in the near future to transfer money for a property purchase in Florida.
Bad time to be doing this, but I am trying to get the best exchange rate and the safest method for doing this
Appreciate any help form anyone who has done this.

If you have a bank account in both Australia and in the US, you can simply use http://www.ozforex.com.au to move money from one account to the other. You do it as a "deal" and your U.S. account would be the beneficiary of the deal.

Hi Jacqui – thanks for that. I assume ozforex are a trusted company.
I will check out their exchange rate.
Yes I have a Wells Fargo account.
Thanks again

Used Ozorex for 5 years to send funds back to the UK and never had an issue.
Very professional, service is excellent and rates are better than all of the Banks.
Cheers
