    HI All,

Im not one to normally gripe….. However, I have been looking for a 1 Br unit to rent or buy in Melb. I am finding it incredibly frustrating that when I say min 1br max 1br studios keep coming up and or worse group housing where you rent a one br with ensuite in a massive share house.

There is specifically a studio option on the search engine, why don't RE use that, it takes me much longer to go through all the properties and even worse there are bulk of the 1br group housing option.

Is the advertising of a studio as a 1br when there is clearly an option for studios illegal, do RE.com even montior the website or just take in the advertising fees?

    Absolute BS

I agree and very common. Then theres ones that are technically a one bedder but really are a studio.

I hate it even more when you search for a house and units show up.

Yes! Or houses that are outside outside the price range you have entered.

How can it be technically a one bedroom and really a studio?

I consider it to be a one bedroom if it has a separate room that will fit a bed.

Floor size similar to a studio and hardly any living area even for a 1 bedder.
