First of all this is a great forum with a wealth of information. Thanks for sharing.
The reason for this post is because I have seen other investors ask about software and tools that can help in their property purchasing / decision making process. And in summary I created an iPhone / iPad app to do just this.
My background is that I am a property investor with 12 years worth of property investing experience. Like most of you I have been using a fairly thorough spreadsheet during that time that has enabled me to compare multiple properties all at once and provide me with the key buying metrics we all like to use when comparing properties for investment, e.g. Cash-flow, Gross Yield, ROI, Cost per Sq Meter, etc.
About a year ago I decided to see what apps were available on the app store that provided all the information I could currently get on my spreadsheet. Amazed that there was nothing actually available to provide all the data I wanted I decided to design an app myself.
Well that app is now available on the app store and its called Property Compare.
Like it says in the title this app will provide you will all the key metrics you will use to compare multiple properties all at once. You can also do some smart things like chart the cash-flow position, ROI, Monthly Outgoings etc from highest to lowest, to assist you in making your property purchasing decisions.
And being an app you can take this with you on the go.
