Hi All,
I have updated to a new PC and when I re-installed the Investment Detective it does run correctly.
The software installs however it does not run correctly, im unable to create new portfolio pages there im unable to do anything.
Phillip from propertyinvesting.com has sent me several emails of what to do and still it does not work.
Am i the only one or do other people experience similar problems?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!?
Thanks mat

Phone MeHi Phillip , You have not given much information for any ideas. What operating system is on the new computer is it Windows 7 32 bit version or is it windows 7 64 bit version or is it windows 8 . One idea I thought of is windows has a library package of C files that may be needed by Investment detective. These files are known as net framework. have a look at this link I found
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=17851. Another problem could be flash player I have a program that doesn't install unless it has the previous version of flash player installed and fails with the most current flash player being installed.
You may want to email the software support and see if net frame is needed and what version with the investment detective.
I am only clutching at straws but I have had problems with net frame work with other programs so it might be a line of thought.
Hey Duckster,
Thats the problem Phil is software support, all previous support has not worked.
I'm running windows 8 64 bit other then that I have no idea, i will try your ideas and get back to you on this.
I tried emailing support again, see what happens.

Phone MeMy guess is that it's not Win8 compliant. W8 is a major rebuild of the WinOS not just a simple upgrade as in the past.
