Hello All
I am looking to buy property in the Western Suburbs of Sydney or any other capital city. Does anyone have any suggestions of
Suburbs to look for? Which suburbs have performed well?
I don’t want to spend too much money as I want to rent them out with high rental return.
Any suggestions
Thanks
Hi PropertyInvestor78
Most property investment magazines will have data on suburbs that perform well. This would be a good place to start.
Major areas like Parramatta, Blacktown, Penrith, Liverpool seem to be good performers, but I'm sure if you do your research you'll find other suburbs. I would be careful to avoid areas that are considered socially challenged like perhaps Mount Druitt.
Good luck with your investing journey!

Your question is too broad.
I could rattle off a list where I buy but that doesn't mean those areas are suitable for you. Tamara says be careful of Mt Druitt. I agree but I would and have bought there.
You need to do some work yourself and narrow it down. Mtt Druitt and the ones Tamara lists (except Parramatta) will give you a good rental return + Campbelltown area. But they are a few of many.
Get in a car and have a look around the areas of interest, see what your $$ will get you for your price range in each area and compare gross returns.
