All Topics / General Property / Record in high house rents could force families into flats
Obviously another slow news day with 2GB being a bit quiet with less adverts and not much happening in parliament.
From today's Sydney Morning Herald
If rents are skyrocketing then demand will supposedly increase for units (doesn't take a brain surgeon to work that one out). In a previous article they were banging on how rents are dropping (WTF??) because of changes to the tax treatment of living away from home allowances.
Are either of these scenarios going to change your investment strategies?
How about the good old "spread your risk" strategy. Not having all the same kind of properties in the investment portfolio
