    Hi all,

Trying to think how to creatively add value to a 4 bedder in Western Sydney. The property has granny flat potential but personally I think they can reduce the value of a house, and I don't have that kind of cash anyway.

So as it is a fibro (very likely asbestos), I was thinking of cladding.

Firstly would it add value? and would weatherboard or brick veneers be better?

I've already painted the interior and tidied the garden, so what other affordable cosmetic ideas would be good?

    Thanks

i think cladding old fibros is a great value adder, personal taste as it gives it a new life feel, i have a house ive been thinking of cladding for a while but i dont know a trusted "cladder?"

i read an old reno book from about 2 years ago which claims cladding can increase the value by up to 30K im not sure if this is true but would like to know
