See, property investing doesn't have to be boring.
Nope its not boring and yep property investing can go hand and glove with a non boring lifestyle.
Haha!! I am of the opinion there should be a meeting of the key players on pi.com. It shall be conducted like a celebrity heads style game. Yes.

If we had the meet up then it would have to be on an initial condition of anonymity. Later in the evening we could have a competition to guess the pseudonym of each guest based on their psychological condition, with more drinks as the prize for correctly guessing a guests identity. The main question is whether the location was in a CF+ or Negative Geared place. I am leaning towards a Negative Geared joint as they are easier to get to and wont involve a six hour drive.
So I will nominate Brisbane as the preferred location, then Melbourne(tax deductible trip down there to inspect my IP). Sydney is no good, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart and Darwin don't count.
The other condition would be no firearms.
I think we should have a meet up in every state. It could be a week long thing. Although someone needs to assign someone to carry a fire arm as you can’t be too sure with these property investors. You wouldn’t want a mass riot.
Hi Possumpal,
What is your annual passive income goal, and how long before you are 40 years of age?
From what you've stated it seems that you still have plenty of time left, and a fair bit of equity to play around with
Finished school in 2003 at 18 years of age? Now 27 years of age? With $200,000 equity? And 13 years left?
Seems like a pretty good position to be in
Have you considered setting up a business in a field you are passionate about?
My last preceptor mentioned that starting up his own business was one of the best decisions he has ever made, and he is getting +30% ROI
Imagine what your $200,000 would look like in 13 years if you could get those kind of returns (or even a fraction of those returns)
$200,000 x 1.3^13 = $6,057,502.132!
.
Road trip !
.
Road trip would take tooooooooooooo long. Ever REA along the way would be another stop looking for the next deal.
That’s why that firearm would come in handy!
You are not having a mid life crisis !
What is happening to you is you have woken up to the fact that working for a wage sucks.
You most likely if you are like me feeling that you are entitled to greater achievement in your financial life
This is what makes you different to most of the population !
You need to plan how to gain two properties a year over the next ten years.
KNOWLEDGE – makes a big difference. I am reading The art of the deal – by Donald Trump
Thanks everyone for the replies
Just thought I would give you an update, after alot of thought I have decided to……. grow a pony tail, lol
Nah, I have done some research and allot of thinking and am looking to start up a agriculture contracting business. It will be long hours but only for short periods which I am comfortable with. The only issues is to get this up and running I am going to need about $150 000 to purchase my machinery.
Any one got any ideas about the best way to finance this?
Best just to start with my local bank?
Cheers
I wish you all the best with the new business. Don't let $150k discourage you. Better to take a risk and fail then grow old and wonder what if.

I see an opportunity here Richard…..
A little pay back on the kids after years of early morning feeds, sleepless nights, changing dirty nappies and constantly picking up 'stuff' up off the floor!
Just got to start stocking up on adult size nappies….

Hi possum pal,
I am 28 and I was a sales consultant at a doing real estate at the age of 24 to 27.
First year was hard.
I moved on from real estate for two reasons
1) in order to be successful you need to operate 24/7
2) there are plenty of other ways to make a decent living
Mid life crisis? Nope, your just finding your feet that's all
