    Hi, in Tassie we have The List (http://www.thelist.tas.gov.au) where we can we can check out who owns a property, when they purchased it and for how much etc.

    Does anyone know of the equivalent website for Western Australia?

    Cheers

    RPData is probably your best option.

    I am not aware of a free site of that information.

    DOLA do a title search facility at $24/search.

    Hi Kate,

    Oops – I can't keep up with Govt Department name changes.

    DOLA = Landgate

    Thanks for reminding me :)

    Hi Jackie and Pete

        Good topic and I am new to the game. I wouldn't mind finding out if there is a site that does the same in NSW that someone may be able to point out. It would be a very handy bargaining/info tool to have indeed.

          Cheers and Thanks

    Thanks so much for the info.

    We find it makes such a difference knowing who owns the property, when they bought it and how much they paid.  We use the Tassie site all the time.   It's especially good for contacting owners direct.

    Cheers

    Jackie
