Freckle, not that's not what I meant. It literally freeze, looks like timeout from some network connection.
While it is not an acronym, there would be value in having a definition and explanation of what an offset account is, and how it works.

OK after some further playing it seems I half solved that problem. If my laptop goes into screen saver mode or sleeps the page stops although before I had a blank page now I have a page but it's stalled (needs to wakeup after the laptop). Still it's much better.

Email MeHi Steve,
At the moment quoted posts appear immediately underneath the original comment whereas the old forum the last post was the last post irrespective of whether or not it quoted someone else.
New format now means I have to try and find the new post in amongst the whole thread rather than just going directly to the bottom of the thread.
For example Freckle was listed as the last post in this thread (prior to this one) and it seems the only way I can find out what he said was to look at the time stamps and scroll through the whole thread rather than simply going to the bottom of the thread.
Me likes the previous process with quoted posts appearing at the bottom.

Couldn't agree more! On the smaller threads it's not too bad but if you are trying to closely follow a larger one There is a good chance you will miss some new posts that are scattered between the old ones. Used to be easy just finding the last post you had read and then continuing on from there.
How it is now may not be so much an issue once the email alerts are back in play as long as you can still subscribe to threads.

The site is appealing and very easy to navigate. It's simple and simplicity can never fail. Great job!
Could links, hyperlinks open in a new window please.
New site looks fresh and larger font is easy on the eye. Still getting a little
used to the new layout…..haven't been on here here for a while.

By default – in new window. No choice in the matter may be better.
Hello Steve,
I'm new to your forum and I haven't seen your previous forum look but I think you have done well with this one. One thing I like most is your site is very user friendly.

I was just about to write this too. Definitely an issue.

Hi Admin,
How is the site coming along with the new improvements ?
Can I upload pictures yet ?
I'm trying on this post to see if I can yet……
Nope, no pictures yet !
You said it perfectly. Some forums have very small font size which, in my case, is hard for me to read the thread.
HI,
Sorry I havne't read the posts in this thread so some of these things may already have been discussed.
I am finding it much harder to navigate than the old forum. Some difficulties are:
1. No button to mark all forums as read
2. Replies show under the post replied to and not at the end, making it difficult to navigate.
3. No automatic notification of replies to threads where you have already posted.
However, I do like the "rate this post" button!

Ps. You can rate your own posts too (that was me giving myself the thumbs up above).

An issue that I face with the forum is that when I leave a window with the forum there in my browser for a long time, then the browser ends up popping up an error message about 5-10 minutes later. The error talks about an problem with the script, and then my computer slows down, and I am asked whether to stop the script or continue the script. It's quite annoying actually, but perhaps it's from the fact that the forum automatically updates itself in the "What's Happening Now" section
