Check your councils website or give them a call. If it just yourself with a computer it should be fine.
If people are coming and going, multiple staff, cars etc thats another thing.

Hi,
Also if you live in a strata complex you may need permision from the body corp. As above if its just you working on your own – no probs, but extra visitors or parking and this will raise some concerns in some complexes.

If you're renting you may need to inform your landlord because the nature of the business may impact on their insurance policy.
