    Hi Guys!
Im Kolya, 19 years of age. Currently running my own Outdoor personal training business and will be completing a dual diploma of Business and Management by the end of this year. I have been into personal development since I was 16 and have read about 30-40 books on a wide variety of topics on mindset, leadership, property, stocks and wealth creation in general.

I want to purchase my first real estate property however do not want to make costly mistakes so early in my life, and yes I know that failures are learning experiences and will inevitably happen along the way.
I am 100% coachable, not afraid to get out of my comfort zone (as that’s where the magic happens) and open to any opportunities to learn from highly successful individuals in the field of real estate investing. I know with the right guidance I will achieve a lot of great things, and the person that can give me that guidance will experience a feeling of fulfilment from mentoring and watching the growth of a young entreprenuer. My timetable is extremely flexible and am open to do some free work experience and with property developers/investors, do skype sessions, informal catch-ups at the convenience of anybody that will give me the opportunity to learn from them.

Aternatively if anybody can direct me to a particular company or person that would consider letting me do some work experience with them that would also be greatly appreciated. For further questions I can be reached on 0449977023 or just reply to this post.

Thanks for reading this and wishing all your dreams to com true J

HAve you considered doing Steve McKnights Property Apprenticeship Course – That might be a good place to start – I have been investing in property for 30 years now and I have found a few things in it that have assisted me – its a nice community to learn in – Failing that google property meetings and start attending regular monthly meetings there are a number of groups around

    cheers

Thanks Michael, I will definetly look into the apprenticeship program, I had a quick look, what is the cost of the total program?
I have looked at a couple of groups on meetup.com, is there any that you would personally reccomend?

    Thanks again,

    Kolya.

I offered to have a chat and for some reason my response was deleted. If I have experience why can I not offer to have a chat with someone.

    Hi Kolya,

Maybe head over to an Active Property Network meeting if you want to test the waters, they meet once a month on a Monday night in Blackburn. (google them :)). Other than that the Property Apprenticeship seems to be the way to go for unbiased property knowledge.

Nigel, your post probably got deleted because between you and Richard Taylor you seem to be trying to ensure you get everyone to go through you to invest in property. Hey I could be wrong, but it's just what it looks like from where I'm sitting.

    Cheers

I have only met Richard once. I offer a 19 year old some advice and get deleted. Richard has been posting here for years. For the record I have not picked up clients from this site. I do not need to. I try and share my knowledge.. Frankly I resent your comments and think the moderator has a cheek deleting my comment.

That's ok Nigel, you can resent my comments, I'll allow it .

I'm just making a call on what I see written on the forum. Richard Taylor has had excellent advice in the past, but I have noticed that he has written quite a few 'references' for u to people on the forum. You have offered to chat to quite a lot of the newcomers.

Maybe you are feeling very friendly, that's cool. Good on you for helping people for free, out of the goodness of you heart, we should all be trying to help people who are new to the site.

    Cheers

Thanks Nigel, Catch-up sounds great.  I will PM you in the next 48 hours, are you based in Melbourne?

Great advice D, will definitely take that on board. Their next meeting is on Monday 6th of August. I will definitely make an appearance and check it out, is there anyone on this forum that goes there ?

I have heard a lot of good things about the apprenticeship program, I did a bit of research on it today and it looks really positive. Considering it is all done online and not face to face, the start-up of 4K looks like a lot compared to any other courses out there, I have also been a fan of face to face learning and would like to see whether there are any options in the area.  Do you think that the apprenticeship program will prepare me enough to do my own due diligence on property investments, or will i still need the specialised knowledge of an advisor?

Is there anything like an apprenticeship or traineeship program that companies or investors offer?

sorry to bombard you with questions, still so much to learn :)

Yes, get along to meetings and mix with as many people as you can who are into property investing. Its better than the BBQ conversation where everyone has an opinion on the property market and their tales of woe. You will sort out which way you want to go. From my experience- it matters little which property apprenticeship you wish to take on- you just need to decide this is what you want to do and do it- Nike – Just do it!
