    Will the federal govt drop the company tax to 25%? what do you guys think?

    Smoke and mirrors. Company pays less tax and distributes more dividends.

    Shareholders receive greater dividend but less franking credit & pay more tax at your marginal rate.

    No, it was supposed to drop to 29% next financial year, but this was scrapped in the recent budget so I don't see them going to 25% anytime soon
