All Topics / Help Needed! / What software do you use to manage your IPs?
Ideally looking for something that I can use on a Mac (not essential) and has the ability to easily manage/ monitor personal finances.
Pros/ cons of what you use?
Costs?Thanks in advance.
Hi Zem.
Ideally, I think you need comments from ppl who actually use the software daily. For what it’s worth, I tried a couple of programs like Investment Detective I think it was called, looked OK for me small scale, and a few different small scale spreadsheets but never really setup everything and operated with it so not a good test.
I saw a demo of Somersoft PMS which looked very comprehensive, could be worth a look.Ask your bank too. Good luck.
Cheers

Hi there
A simple excel spreadsheet should do the trick.
I have one that I spend 10 minutes updating each month.
I have a summary page at the front that has total income/ expenses for the year and a separate sheet for each IP which feeds into the summary page.
Cheers

good package and built to a budget. Has a longer free trial period than most.
i also just use excel – just use simple formulas, and you can easily adapt the spreadheet to how you want it to look
i found a pretty good spreadsheet online that i use – just plug in the figures. can email it to you if you like?
Hey Emma,
Would you be able to email that to me? I'll send you a PM.
Thanks
