Hi I'm new to this site but have a question ,
I have purchased a property and the vendors have agreed to pay a fee weekly to live  for 8 wk period . the form was licence to occupy . i havent been able to contact my conveyancer about the risks to me  If some thing isnt working or breaks ,and i discover this when i move ? how can i prove that it was like it before i moved and do they have any other responsibility other than the standard leaving the house in same condition as viewed when sold to me . I cannot see it properly with furnature in it …should i take photos etc ..its not the same as rental as no bond is required .

You should have special conditions in the contract and then do a final inspection before settlement.

You should have used a solicitor who could have added the extra conditions. Its too late now if you have signed contracts.

At least go and see the property and do the final inspection. Take details notes and photos. Check to see if appliances (the ones you will own) work.
