    HI All,

    We have just purchased an investment property in Somerville Victoria. It is subject to building and pest inspection.

    Can anyone recommend a good building inspector to undertake a building and pest inspection for us?

    Anyone have some bad news stories of building inspectors and tips on what to look out for when dealing with a building inspector?

    Who do people recommend and more importantly whom should we steer clear of?

    Try Archicentre. http://www.archicentre.com.au.

    I have used them and found useful also they certainly have good PI cover. A friend of mine had termites problem within 12 months of their inspection and Archicentre covered for the 'fix' without any major drama.
