Just a bit of fun (bored at work)
If you had the money to buy in one suburb right now where would you buy??
Where do others believe the best prospects are for 2012 and into 2013?
I have a place in Gladstone (brought March 2011) and wish I could buy again there (if I had the money)
Balmoral. Even in this area prices have come off the boil so there are couple bargains to be found.
Doesn't have to be fancy, but near the beach and amenity with unobstructed views to the ocean, with the sunset visible from the deck. This one:

Very happy with my unit in West Perth – wish I owned the whole building!
If I was buying just for me – 100 acres in Karri country somewhere in the South west of WA with good dams, good horse yards and some serious timber! Maybe if I buy enough units this will eventually become a reality!
Oh and a big shed……….
Balmain. 100%.
Point Piper. Only because if I could afford to buy there I'd be as rich as I need to be. And I'd love the lifestyle of living there.
I'm buying at The Entrance NSW at the moment.
Simple pleasures .. such as an easy to access beach .. fabulous views and a great atmosphere are my general guidelines for beachside property. And the prices are scandalously cheap now.
5 yrs or 10 yrs .. i know that it cant last like that.
Forrestville in Sydney,NSW. Near Frenchs Forrest.
Drove past a few times, there's one area which has houses on a hill (backs onto Healey Way?), really bushy and a river runs right in front, close to city, Chatswood shops, etc. Stunning views.
Just google mapped it, take a look from the bridge there, beautiful park underneath.
Can I do 3 (greeeedy!)
Wish list is – Camberwell (VIC) or Merewether (NSW) or East Vic Park in (WA)
My other half has his hopes pinned on Palm Beach.
Good luck!

If it were to live in then Vaucluse.
If it was for investment then some big massive water or beach side luxury joint on the Gold Coast.
