All Topics / Heads Up! / Canberra property meeting
Hi everyone
A few of us local Canberrans meet on a regular basis to catch up and support, chat all things property etc. We are making the group more formal this year, and would love to meet others who also invest in real estate. Among the members we have done pretty much every course on the market, and range from newbies to seasoned investors.
The next one is on Feb 21st at 7.30pm at civic library. If you're free, come along, and if you're not well change your plans. Just kidding.
We'll be meeting again in march and so on, the third Tues of each month at civic library at the same time, 7.30pm. If you haven't been before, the library is in civic square, at the bottom of the stairs to the canberra theatre. It's not a huge cost, a gold coin to contribute towards the room hire. Tea/coffee facilities are there, but please bring your own mug to save on the disposables going in the bin.
Drop me a line or PM if you have any burning questions, and hope to meet you there.
Cheers,

Hi Claire
Sounds great. How many people do you normally have turn up?
Is this different to the investor meetings that were held near DFO about a year ago? I can't remember who ran them.
Some of us on the somersoft forum organise informal meet-ups at a pub every once and a while. It might be worth posting on that forum too.
Cheers

Hi Jamie
Thanks for the heads up on somersoft, I'll check it out and post there too.
Normally, it's a small group of less than a dozen depending who's in town. We too were meeting on a more informal basis, but the venues can be noisy. And yes, different to the DFO meetings ran by Yvonne Thomas, aka Snowy as this is more of a networking than a presenter/speaker focus. While there are speakers coming up later, this one on Feb 21 is purely a meet and greet to get to know new faces and hear some locals speak about the deals they have done and are doing right now.Hope to meet you there, would be great to put faces to some familiar online names!
Thanks,

All good for tonight. If anyone reads this before 7.30pm and wants to come along, please feel free to do so. Future meetings and details, you can find us on http://www.facebook.com/#!/groups/236871996398420/
Entry is via the rear door of the library, so if you're unsure find a side without crazy angles and that's the back! Door is at the far end, where you will find me.
Please byo coffee mug, gold coin for entry and any business cards you'd like to exchange.
Hope to meet some new faces today and in the months ahead.CanberraClaire | Capital Buyers Agency
