    I know its discussed often, but what are peoples current views on the bowen basin?  Which suburbs/towns? Longevity of the market etc.  Obviously the rental returns are great, but does it compensate for the risk?

    Is a safer bet the major feeder towns such as Emerald and Mackay etc

    Would love to hear some views

    Mining towns always present additional considerations. They are certainly not a set and forget prospect and need ongoing monitoring – look at vacancy rates, prices comparisons, rental changes and then there are announcements by the major players in the relevant community to consider.
