    (this question is directed at anyone with knowledge of Logan QLD in particular Springwood.)

    Am I being unrealistic?

    After much research I decided that I would like my first IP to be in Springwood or Rochedale South. 
    I would like to buy a shabby property that requires cosmetic reno (kitchen, bathroom, carpet, landscaping, paint, window furnishing).  Do a full reno on the place then rent it.  I want to add value to property so I have equity to buy another one and do the same as quickly as possible.

    I have a budget of around $350,000.

    Am I being unrealistic to think I can get what I want in the area I want for the price I want?
