My boyfriend owns a unit in a block of flats in Bondi….The owners of the flats (8 in total) have agreed in principle to develop the roof with between two and four penthouse apartments. The roof already has a large existing structure which could be removed. Hopefully this will make council approval easier.
In order to keep things simple the group has agreed to get in a third party to either purchase the roof space or enter into some sort of Joint Venture.
Does anyone have any advice on the best way to proceed?
Are there companies who do this sort of thing? Where would we find them??? I’ve had a bit of a look on the net but am not getting very far.Thanks a million

I have not done this myself but town planners sometimes have access to architects and surveyors ect.
