Does anyone have a good link which has info on GST on developments in laymans terms?Thanks
none that I can think of off the top of my head.
In very general terms, you will be required to remit 1/11th of the contract price as gst (possibly less if using the margin scheme).
Read this booklet to understand how you may be able to avoid GST and only pay CGT rather than income tax
