I have purchased a property in US in my own name, but now I have set up an LLC and it appears I need to quit claim the property into the LLC. Can any one recommend someone in US who can do that. I have been advised that I would need to see a notary public here which I am trying to avoid. Alternatively can you advise on finding a notary public in Melbourne.

    Thank you

    Hello,
One of our title companies can help you, as it’s a very simple process as long as you have all your paperwork in order.
We don’t however serve all states, which state is this for?

You may want to consider a Warranty Deed as opposed to a Quitclaim. The Warranty Deed should prevent having to purchase new title insurance.

You shouldn't need title insurance if you are transferring from your own name into an LLC that is owned by you.
Quit Claim is simple, should not even need a notary if you use the right attorney who knows what they are doing.  Cost is also only around $150 in total.

Did you buy the property yourself or through a broker in Australia?  If you used a broker then they should have all the contacts like attorney's, accountants etc to assist you in all matters regarding your purchase.
