New to the site and forum, what can i expect

Hi all,
I am new to this site and the forum what can i expect to get out of it? i would be interested in hearing from members on why you joined up?
Also i have been to a few of these types of seminars that are on offer before, why is this one any different?

The Seminar thing was referring to the seminar coming up in Sydney this weekend and if i could expect anything different from what i have encountered before

What seminar is it? I'm not going (of course otherwise I'd know) but maybe it's one I have been to.
What seminars have you been to and what's your opinion?
What are you looking to get from the seminar/forum?
